Product Description
3M Scotchlok Electrical IDC 560B-POUCH is used to electrically connect a tap wire to a run (through) wire while insulating the connection. This insulating conductor is made with quality polypropylene and is designed for use with 18 to 16 AWG solid or stranded, tinned or untinned copper conductors or 14 AWG stranded. Use with thermoplastic insulated wires, such as T, TW, TFF, TFN TFFN, AWN, TEW, SAE-GPT, with a maximum insulation diameter of .145 inches (3.7 mm). The connector has easy conductivity due to the tin-plated brass construction. UL Listed for AWG only, 3M Scotchlok Electrical IDC 560B-POUCH is UL Listed as a Pressure Cable Connector and tested per UL Standard 486C, UL File No. E23438, making it a reliable way to join parallel run wires and insulate connections.
